Peter Johannessen of Bedford, Massachusetts is currently a student in the University of Vermont's Honors College. A political science and history major, he spent his junior year abroad at the  London School of Economics. His specific academic interests include democratization and Latin American politics. Outside of class, Peter  is a professional musician, award-winning photographer, and avid skier.
