Andrea Marie Fernandez-Ramirez

Texas Lutheran University

Andrea Fernandez is from the small town of Hondo, TX.  She is currently a senior at Texas Lutheran University and has a major in Political Science, and a double minor in Criminal Justice and Philosophy.  She is a member of the TLU women’s golf team where she has received the award for academic all conference two years in a row, and helped her team to a conference title in 2007.  She is also a member of the Young Democrats, the Student Government Association as a Senior Senator, the Student Advocate Program, Delta Epsilon Iota honors society, Xi Tau Sorority, the Leadership Certificate Program, and Greek Council.  She has participated in Mock Trial, the St. Mary’s Law School’s Ethics Bowl, and the Young Democrats and College Republican Debates.  Andrea is anticipating graduating in the 2009 spring semester, and is planning to continue her education in law and eventually be appointed or elected a judicial position.
