Sarah J. Holdt was born January 6, 1987 in Scottsblufff, NE, where she lived until beginning college. Her parents are Dr. David and Sylvera Holdt, and she has two older brothers: Alex and Dr. Adam Holdt. During high school in Scottsbluff she played on the golf team, participated in show choir, choir, and the school musical, was a member of National Honor Society, the editor of the yearbook, and a Valedictorian of the 2005 class at Scottsbluff High School.  She is currently attending the University of Nebraska Lincoln on a full academic scholarship, majoring in psychology and pre-medicine, with a minor in political science.  She is involved in the University Honors Program, UCARE (an undergraduate research program), and was a Resident Assistant for two years. Her favorite activities are playing with her dogs and reading.
