Hi, my name is Ben Hanson and I was born and raised in Fargo, North Dakota. It was there that I attended grade and high school. I currently am a junior at Minnesota State University Moorhead as a Political Science major with a minor in Film. I love political theory of all sorts and have worked in offices in my states and DC to gain a better perspective. I have also ran for office, making failed bid to be elected to Fargo's Park Board in the 2006 Fargo city elections. I garnered 14% of the vote to place fourth in a seven-way race for three open seats. I am the founder and president of MSUM Students for Barack Obama. I hope to either run for office or work for a federal official some day.
