Augustana College

Kara Kingma is a junior government and accounting major from Hawarden, Iowa. She attends Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. On campus, she is involved in New Student Orientation, the Augustana Band, and Augustana Coalition for Social Justice. Additionally, Kara has been a part of Senator Barack Obama's presidential campaign as precinct captain and county delegate and will travel to Guatemala this summer as a Peace Prize Forum scholar. Future goals include attending graduate school and a career focused on international relations and sustainable development.
