Grinnell College

Tiffany Au was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii.  A political science major, she first became interested in learning about the discipline when she arrived to Grinnell College, a liberal arts college known for its political activism, and because at home, she never had the opportunity to engage in related discussions.  She has a keen interest in learning about power relations and dynamics and staying active in current global events, as well as methods of conflict resolution.  Currently, she is undecided in her future goals, however, her interests in film and theater may be a possible route in which to engage the community in global affairs.  She is excited to attend the 2008 Student Congress and to meet fellow peers and staff with the same interests.
