Nicholas Hromalik

University of California, San Diego

A native of California, Nick grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Currently Nick is a junior at the University of California at San Diego, where he is majoring in Political Science with an emphasis in American Politics.  Outside of class, Nick holds a variety of campus jobs including research assistant on two separate political science projects, giving campus tours for the office of undergraduate admissions, and teaching swim lessons for the university’s recreation department.  From an early age politics has been Nick’s passion, so he has taken several internships in federal and local government, as well as participated in the UCDC program that allowed him to study in the nation’s capitol.  While in Washington D.C., Nick was selected to be a University of California Congressional Fellow.  Nick has accepted several leadership positions in student organizations, and has taken great pride in volunteering as an Election Precinct Officer in the last three political elections.  When Nick is not busy studying, working, or interning, he enjoys hanging out with friends or catching some great California sunshine at the beach!
